Tools, cant have too many. I have a lifetime collection, plus what i inherited from Dad, he was Mechanic also. Always something missing still. My problem is, lots of tools at work, lots at home. Bike gets attention in both places, doubling up costs, remembering to take what needed doesnt always happen. My reco tool for Aussies, Repco sell 3/8 Mechpro torque wrench for $40. Yeah its chinese, yeah it works perfectly. Measured it against expensive Snap On, almost same readings. Bloody handy for 14.

I'm hearing more and more about Repco branded tools. Lifetime guarantee and good quality. I buy mostly Mechpro from there but need a decent ratchet as my SCA (lol) ones are wonky at best.

A local guy that  worked on my classic car several years ago was in the process of restoring his old racing boat 'Telstar' from the late '60's, quite an impressive thing sitting in his driveway! Think it was a record holder in it's day?  :undecided:

Telstar was made for racing.
Fjordling 17 HT was a small family boat, produced 1963 - 1968, Originally meant to 18-35 hp outboard motors
and now they are using 150-300 hp engines, speeds 50 to 70 knots, but not in same kind of weather conditions than Telstar.

When I was doing my pre-sea training on the Hamble darn-saff we would often see the race boats! Love the engine noise as they burbled out to give them some stick!
I need to go somewhere I've not been but won't know until I get there!
