Hope you shared with your mate. :onya:

I normally get 2.  One with, one without, Lenny doesn't like onions.

The Callipers on my last VW Tiguan were covered in rust when only 2 years old - quite normal said VW. Just bought a 6 month old Tiguan with 2K on the clock so bought some calliper paint to hopefully keep them looking better for longer on this one. :)

Bought exactly the same of ebay couple of weeks ago, still in the boxes so let me know how it goes, lots cheaper than that Halfords crap in the spray can.

That paint works well, but bear in mind as it's probably two pack resin with a hardener itll need to be warmed with a hairdryer or similar to start the reaction to cure it. I used similar on a car I had years ago and due to the low temperature when I did it the paint was still wet over 12 hours later! I warmed it up a bit and within an hour or so it had fully cured and was dry to the touch.
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

Must say, Mrs Notty is very clever to be able to iron a curve into a shirt like that.  :whistling: Well done that girl!  :onya:

Last week i bought a washing machine online. 10 days later have had every excuse as to why not delivered. Ive rung them 5 times, promised a call back each time, hasnt happened yet. Am i pissed off, well, yes. Mrs hand washed today, shes not real happy either.

Hooray, washer arrived and works fine. Will ask for my $103 premium delivery cost back. My super loud horns arrived today, all the way from Germany. Same as Tony Nitrous got while ago. My i phone swelled its battery up today, pushed the screen off. Another project. Ran an extra earth wire on 14, think it turns over better. Voltage riding changed from 13.7 to 13.9. My day.

Thankfully the new Tiguan has a flat bottomed steering wheel so my curve will fit just fine - thanks Col  :)

I used e-Tech stuff exactly the same as Notty has just purchased on a few cars of mine, and it does a cracking job, clean off the calipers and then paint straight on (no 2-pack Steve), although I did find that it took a couple of coats to get a good finish that I was happy with (first coat was "ok", second really put a nice eggshell shine on them). Touch dry in about an hour, fully hardened in 6 hours (mind that was on a warm summers day).

Lasts very well as well, and easy to clean.

Good stuff e-Tech, will be using it to paint the calipers on my VW as well.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement
