I have just about all the Milwaukee power tools, handed them over to my son when I left Oz, he previously had Makita but like me loves the Milwaukee. None of them have failed yet and they have plenty of use.

Playing with oscilloscope I saw voltage/current spikes. Using voltage-drop method I found a damaged ground cable coming from the ECU. There are 4 grounds that come from the Ecu and are then crimped together (including a 5th wire from another connector) onto a single ground wire.  This single wire had a damaged insulation about 2 cm from the splice. The connectors  in the picture came today. One of the shrinkable ends fit over the 6-wire crimp.  I didn't have much wire length to work with but this fit very nicely. No more voltage spikes.

Just lately I have noticed loads of Tradesmen with power tools of that make.
Are they actually American ?
That brand does have a good reputation & is in the higher end of the market price wise, but, the Milwaukee branded stuff I've seen is always blue & I see this version is red?  The blue branded stuff I believe, was made in USA.

Bought a set of Bridgestone Battlax T31s for the big Suzie. Yet to refit the wheels to the bike. $A570 all up F&B. First new set of tyres for me since buying the bike at 32,000km. Now at 40,000km. Old set of Michis were from 2010/2011 and unknown kms on them. Will let you know how they go.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Techtronic Industries based in Hong Kong are a parent company over many brands including AEG, Ryobi, Milwaukee, Dirt Devil, Vax and others.

Lots of stuff exact same except price/ packaging. Hoover vac cleaner $300 same at K Mart $49, both made by Techtronics you mentioned Tony. No bags with Hoover extra $25 for 5. KMart job has 5 free bags. Too many others to mention.

Quote..."Only some of Milwaukee's products are made in the USA. According to their website, they also have manufacturing facilities in China and Europe. Their main American facilities are in Brookfield, Wisconsin and three cities in Mississippi: Greenwood, Jackson and Olive Branch.11 Mar 2018"

I'd guess they're mostly Chinesium.
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!
