I saw a couple of those Guzzis in the Alps last month, they seem to go pretty well.

I didn't buy it but my eldest arrived with this today.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

Im a big guzzi fan and like the 14 no bloody electronics gizmo's just good old fashioned engineering and even good old locking nut and screw tappet adjustment , so all you need is a good set of tools and away you go   :imrgreen:

What about the other two in the shed.

Joined "Costco".  It's $60 a year but might be worth it. Saved a bit on a shop today and their fuel is often the cheapest in the city. Probably won't go every week but a monthly shop for loo rolls / tinned or dry food / kitchen roll / soft drink etc and fuel up the Ute will more than cover the membership.

Strange shop. $15,000 diamond ring near cheap T shirts, a hot dog and a drink for $2, a choice of several coffins, hearing aids, eye tests, a sea food party platter, 5 foot tall teddy bears and huge TV's near a mountain of Xmas decorations.

No room in that shed Jeff, that's why I built the new one although with it now insulated & lined I'm wondering if it's too clean to be used as a bike shed.

Didn't but anything but a new custom dash for my Defender arrived earlier in the week..... :)  Free !  :)

Today bought some coolant & brake fluid for it.
Gonna service it tomorrow, weather permitting.
Ottomans: 'Hippity hoppity, Vienna's our property"
...and then the Winged Hussars arrived.

Not today, but on Tuesday I had my first tattoo...I know I've left it a bit late, but it's something I've wanted for years now. Just never found the "Right" design in the past.
I saw a piece of jewellery when we were on holiday in Spain earlier this month...Perfect design and just what I wanted :imrgreen:

A friend actually sent me this which is very accurate :rofl2:

Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

I have a mate Steve has a 2008 stelvio one of the first made he's done over 80k on it and the only trouble he has ever had with it is a failed generator and a blown fork seal , and that bike has a hard life as a courier bike .
I think its like anything you buy some times you have bad luck !

No worries grog ! .... the italian stuff is like marmite you like or you hate it.... and the reliability side of things can be a bit more hit and miss compared to the jap and german stuff , but you's pays your money and you"s take your chance !
Ive owned a few guzzi's in my time and for the best part they have been quite reliable but i have to say they dont tend to like it to hot , here in the uk with our inclement weather they tend to do better .
