Can you not have one fabricated to your spec ARH?  I'd say a chrome surround with a removeable black mesh screen (held in place with some sticky double sided foam) would be totally do-able.

$10 fuel in the bike, enough for a breakfast run but now low so I can pull the tank off.

A spicy German sausage hot dog, a can of Coke, then back for a 2nd hot dog. (Breakfast )

A case for my new iPad.  Then I asked for a quote on a new phone screen. Girl said it's the protector, I said no it's cracked! Turns out I'd only ever seen the plastic screen protectors, this phone had a thin glass screen added to it, off it came, on with a new one. Perfect. $20 not $130.  I live and learn.

Filled the Ute up but it won't get used much so that's 2 weeks fuel.

Rip off pump Notty?, calibration maybe be out, ya might have only put in 58L & they charged ya for 62.

I suspect in cars they measure the capacity of the tank to the lower part of the filler neck..
So when I fill I usually go beyond that and fill to the brim.

Bought 1.5 litres of Rock oil 7.5 fork oil....
I dont like the Rock oil 10 that was supplied by the replacement spring manufacturer..

iff you go past clicking off with car fill in our summer, have seen it expand and flow out thru overflow, carbon canister. ok if you use first few litres, not if you fill and sit it. its fairly well known in car industry, never try to top up past pump clicking off.

Speedy, very funny you say about fork oil. Mate just spoke to, had his Bonnie forks set up, new springs n valves. 10 w oil. He didnt like either. Changed to 7.5 , all fixed.
