Hi Guys, I've now spent even more time cleaning this bike up, getting into all the nooks and crannies and it really is coming up beautifully. The down tubes have come up surprisingly well and the engine cases are looking much better after a bit of wet and dry and autosol, albeit I think ultimately I'll have them powder coated.

I have insured the bike now and am running it alongside the BMW although the GSX seems to be the only bike I'm taking out at the moment. For a bike that wasn't really on my radar I can safely say I can't remember the last time I had so much fun on a bike. The motor is incredibly smooth and the mid range grunt is quite addictive.

Thanks to gsxbarmy for some really helpful advice on many aspects of this bike, hope to meet up for a tea at some point! Now considering replacing the brake hoses as the next job as the brakes don't quite have the "bite" I'm used to..
