Jerky when slow can be a tight sport on the chain or a chain that needs adjustment.  There's been more than a few members fix an issue like this through chain adjustment or replacement.    Just an idea for ya . . .

Thank you for your suggestion, the chain spins fine and adjusted within specs.

I've just taken the bike for a short ride after doing the ECU reset / disconnect earth on battery, turn ignition on and leave for a few minutes, turn ignition off and reconnect earth , turn ignition on and twist throttle to max and back a few times then start bike and let idle .. Did all that and the bike now feels smoother and very responsive to a twist of the throttle.

Doesn't explain to me why I couldn't get the TPS to do it's low and high ohm readings 🤷♂️ nor get it into dealer mode with bridging the wires in the plug. 🤷♂️🤷♂️

I can't really assist with the dealer mode bridge as I've never done it / needed it.  I do recall though that you only need a paperclip to do it. This would suggest to me you only need to bridge 2 terminals, not 4 as you appear to have done.

Pretty sure there is a 'how to' on here somewhere to make your own dealer switch that you leave in place.   I also recall that any codes that come up are lost when the key is turned off, & ya have to turn the key off to get the seat off to get behind the side panel. Hence the reason for mounting one permanently (discretely) that you can activate when an issue pops up & see the code it's thrown.

Dealer mode is a different plug to the TPS.

Someone mentioned if you get the bike in dealer mode you can adjust the TPS by turning it so the single bar displayed on the RH side of the Odo is in the middle. That should be working off the voltage the ECU sees, which is more important than the resistance.

Its the easiest way Hooli, they fitted it to use, much easier than stuffing around with multi meters, voltmeters at different plugs.
