Very nice. Always good to see another Kat.  I'm quite envious!

I still want to replace the one I sold in the UK, but finding an SD model, that's both affordable (for me) and not a mess hasn't happened. I do like the earlier models but I have my heart set on another later model.

The SD had half alloy pegs not rubber, GSXR style 6 spoke wheels not snowflakes, a black engine with slightly different internals.

I like that Grog although the purists will hate it. I think tuning those flat slides for the road might be a problem.

I like the look of that too. Mean looking Kat.

I had CR's and pods on the Katana, more power up top but a pain in the arse on idle, I ended up swapping with a mate  for standard carbs and airbox he used them on a project bike for the Phillip Island Classic.

The Katana is finally finished except for a non working tacho. I've got around 800 pages of manuals but not one word about diagnosing the problem of whether the tacho is faulty or the sender. Not that it's needed because the bike is so bloody uncomfortable to ride it won't see much time with me on it.

Looks lovely Pete. Shame she's uncomfortable to ride though after all that work
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Very nice i reckon and usually dont like orange. Can remember the comfort thing, think thats why, at time i got gsx1100.

I'll be back next year to pick it up.

As for comfort zero. They are a bike for hooning around on, they feel small like a 250 with heaps of grunt, the biggest day ride I did on it would have been about 500 klms. If the GPZ900R had the Suzuki reliability it would be my favourite early superbike.
