The Katana is now a roller so I moved it to the garage from the carport yesterday morning. Although it wasn't a particularly frosty night everything was soaked and I really don't want the bike rusting away before I get to ride it. The poor old 14 has been relegated to the shed with the MX bikes.

So yesterday the header pipes and collectors were taken for chrome and a lot of the sheet metal blasted and primed with more cleaning up and painting today. Brake parts ordered from the UK are on the way so I can almost see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I really should get a better camera or at least set up the photo's better.

As for camera - yeas, you probably should.
You a smart phone user? An update on that will probably cost you the same as a basic camera and you get the updated phone part for free.. cameras on the newer phones are really very good.

As for camera - yeas, you probably should.
You a smart phone user? An update on that will probably cost you the same as a basic camera and you get the updated phone part for free.. cameras on the newer phones are really very good.

Smart phone .... not me Michael. Pictured is the phone I have. It might have a camera, I don't know. I can receive calls by pushing the green button & the red one to hang up. If I need to make a call I have to ask someone to do it for me because I honestly don't know how. If people ask for my mobile number I give them that little piece of paper because I don't know what the number is. Do I take the phone with me when I go out? No, because it's a bloody nuisance & the battery would be flat anyway.

Sad part is that all of that is a true story that I'm sure can be confirmed by Irish & Sweaty.

I'll run a check to see if they are a period part before I can allow it to be passed for Historic Registration

The boss supplied me the same phone for use during work hours.
It has a whopping 3.2MP camera.
And a standby time of over a week with regular use. Its not advanced but as for makings calls it's more than sufficient

Today the Katana came off the stand in anticipation of a ride but a couple of issues came up with the tank so the ride is off until I finish re-spraying it. I'm loving the new chrome header pipes & GSX1400 mufflers.
