New project

First day of restoration and being the lousy bastard I am I baulked at paying $750 for a pair of mufflers. I then remembered the couple of sets of 1400 ones under the house that might fit. So with a little bit of work my newly acquired Katana will now wear GSX1400 mufflers.

But haven't you just doubled the weight of the Katana?

Paint it black so it gets it's speed back
paint it blue and white and it'll be the fastest ever .

Mufflers finally fitted and the Kat is now nice and quiet ... just like my 14. So I now have the pleasure of hearing the induction roar from both the 1400 and the poor little 1100cc Kat engine as they struggle with the extra weight from those cans.

I've also decided that because it's not a race bike and fast scares me now that primer is my colour.

That didn't come out too bad, rest of the bike looks pretty tidy.

Looks good maybe worth a look at removing the internals  of the exhausts to lighten them up a bit .
That said it looks great .

The rear wheel won't  work like that needs to be in line with the front 

But seriously looks a great project hopefully all goes smooth and you post lots of pictures as you go .
