Had a 1200 before my gsx and loved it. For the money I think they are one of the best bikes to buy.......would have another at some point.

Tidy looking bike you're going to look at. Be sure to check the condition of the header pipe/link pipe connection behind the chrome shield..They rot out. It's not a biggie to replace the headers apart from getting the header bolts out of the head.

Thanks for the info froudy i will give a real good looking over but its not a lot of money at £1500 if it needs a few things  .

It makes me  !! .... i was the first to contact him about this bike and he said i will message you the minute i get back , well i sent a text friday night to see when he was around and got no reply !
Anyway got a message back on saturday morning that he'd got some one comming round to see it and that he'd get back in touch if he still had it  , that realy pissed me off i mean i was first and i said i would give him what he wanted for it if it was as good as it looked in the pic's no questions asked .
Then he gets back in touch and says well ive still got the bike if you want to come for it ?   im probably cutting my own nose off but he can go  off some were !!!

That would really piss me off as well, first come first served, you should have had first choice.

That's shite I had it with a car one saw it and said I can leave you a deposit now and come later in the day to pay the rest. They said come back at 4 and all will be ok .got there at 3.50 and they'd just sold it was raging .

Ok to be pissed off. Take a breather and go take a look at the bike. If you want a little revenge, ask him loads of questions (which you should do anyway). If its in really good condition offer him £1300

even if you don't buy it you can still waste his time a lot of it text email and tyre kick . . . . . . you never know might be a really good bike you can get for decent coin
