I've only just seen there was a "Japanese" version...GSX1400ZK7(E2) Its actually listed for the UK Market.

My bike is a K5 but it has the Yoshi exhaust and the Final Edition graphics. According to the history that should have been on K6 models.

I'm guessing the dealers had to retrofit the exhausts to older models to pass emissions rules? And I suppose they stuck the graphics on while they were at it?

Same here ... I am picking up my new to me 2005  K5 tomorrow and it also has the Color's as a K6 and single exhaust

Before I come out with my following statement I must stress this is NOT aimed at you !!!

On the various bike meet ups I go to I overhear many guys going on about how their new super loud carbon can has saved 4kg and the carbon brake levers and other accessories have save them maybe another 2kg . . . . . .
Then I notice that on average the people claiming the weight saving are 20+ stone fat bastards.
The piffling weight saving they reckon they have made is neither here nor there!!
If they were serious about their bikes weight they would lay off the burgers and booze !!

yeah mate ,they forget they are the size of small elephants....  Have a look at the size of some USA guys ,they are bloody huge !!    xxx
