Another GSX convert

Howdy all.

A quick introduction; I got my first bike at 5 and I haven't stopped riding yet. Apart from a brief hiatus when I moved to Oz and had to deal with pesky licences and getting settled. I live in Sydney and I've had my 07 Express now for just over a year and I'm pleased as punch with it.

My first bike was a Z50 and I've ridden pretty much everything since. My father had a collection of some 50odd bikes and a couple of friends with similar sized collections. I'd regularly spend time doing courier runs. Take this bike here, swap this one for that one, getting WoFs (Warrant of Fitness, Pink slip, MOT) done, etc.

I never had a bike licence till I moved to Australia. I'd attempted it in NZ but turning up at the licencing office on a 74 Z1 900 resulted in me being told to "Go away and come back on a more appropriate bike" and then I got busy so never went back. 😉

I'm looking forward to getting some K's up on The Express. I bought it from a GSX Facebook page unreg for a DAMN good price. I get it home and find out my neighbor works with the P.O.!
It's in great nick, straight as, Delkevic exhaust, Ventura Packrack, sheepskin seat cover, F18 sports Fairing.
I'm planning to fit a power commander and a gear indicator tacho.

I've not seen the term 'express ' used before in relation to the 14, is it just a nick name?

must be one of the slower colours if its blue/white it would be called rapid
