Hi Tony, You asked for pics of footrests.
Got the bike back today, so here they are.
As you can see the left hasn't touched but the sidestand has brushed the bitumen a couple of times.
The right has touched down a few times, as has the brake lever and engine bolts.
Yours are  there too

Tony Nitrous

Good man !  :onya:

Your certainly keen! That side stand and engine mount have had harder life than mine.
I'm impressed with your rear sets. They look pretty useful.
.

Sweaty

That's pretty impressive Teufel  :onya: What tyres are you using ?

GSXKING

That must be some pretty serious lean angle then Teufel. Do you have any shots of the bike with you riding it ?  :boogie: :boogie: :boogie:

Thanks Chris, I've been wanting to do this for some time but always thought it was a bit too wankie posting pics of how cool you think you look.
So here goes.
Sweaty I was using Pirelli SC 1 slicks 200/60 and 120/70

Kiwifruit

That would be a big heap of fun.
Great pics  :onya:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Sweaty

Not wankie to me mate, that's what this place is all about  :onya:
Looks like a heap of fun & I have made a mental note, not to try that on the Angel Gt's  ;)

Agree with ya there Sweaty, put 'em up!  We like to see stuff like this!

BTW, I reckon the Angels would handle it, same for PR4. PR3 probably better though.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

great pics Teufel. doing it well. def. not wanky. a like from me.

GSXKING

It's amazing how big the bottom of the motor looks at that lean angle LOL. That bike doesn't look like it goes on the road

Thanks for the positive comments.
It's great to get some affirmation. Much appreciated.
The bike spends most of it's time in road trim, I had a big accident and realised just how much it costs to replace mudguards, clocks, lights etc. so it gets undressed the day before. It increases the value of a track day as I get the pleasure of prepping the bike, changing rims and tyres etc.

Kiwifruit

Interesting perspective on Wanky.
I consider Wanky is talking about it.....not actually getting on and doing it.
Have done two track days myself, such great fun.
However I have never touched down with even the peg prongy things. Yet have had the bike so much further over than I ever would on the road. At each of the two track days a fella has binned a bike. First was in his first session, a near new Ducati 1199. Mint bike. For each metre it slid I reckon it took a couple of grand off the bolt on bits.
Second track day and a fella destroyed his new Yamaha R1.....at the beginning of his second lap !!
So......some things I have learned. Learn to ride it smooth before you try to ride it fast.....oh that's right, smooth is fast. I got a good few track days to go i'd say before I was even consistent !!

Used to help a mate who won 5 NZ Midget Speedcar titles. Some called it luck we called it prep. As you say Teufel, gets you in the mood. We believed the harder we worked the luckier we got.
I used to laugh. People would say why don't you chrome this or that, our chassis was unpainted, just wiped with WD40 or CRC.
At the end of the night, when we were.... lucky.... enough to have a trophy sitting on the bonnet the kids having their photo's taken with it didn't care if it wasn't chromed. But we cared that it carried #NZ1 on its tail tank..... I know, bit wanky !! lol.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

A bit wanky is Australian for.....?
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

a bit wanky in oz, maybe just showing off, over the top, something people  couldnt give a  f... about. kiwi , made my day saying youve not scarred peg knobs on track, often thought i was a wanker as mine like new. boots cop it, not the knobby things.
