HOW TO Free stuck screws with too much Loctite on them

Here's a good tip if you have a screw that's had too much Loctite put on it, and it just refuses to budge. Heat the head of the screw with a soldering iron for a while (be careful not to melt any surrounding plastics). This will melt the Loctite, and hey presto the screw will come out much more easily!
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement :lol:

And for heaven's sake never use red loctite with the exception of crank bolts where you can get a hot torch to remove them.  Rod G   ;)
