I tend not to wet n dry

I have a 150mm DA sander - I use 600 to starts (400 if rough) then 800 to feather edges - primer then guide coat - then sand again with 800 on the DA - Once it feels right its wiped with panel wipe then a tac rag and apply base coat (never usually issues with the basecoat) then within 24 hours apply clearcoat
