Bandit 1200

Right Ho and off we go with an attempt to get my 1200 Bandit and the ZRX1100 both out of boxes and on the road where they belong

as the wife has banned bike parts the dining room I thought Id chuck the lump in it and ended up doing a little more

Engine In and all secured
Swing arm
Shock & Linkage
Headstock bearings
alternator & starter fitted

All parts were stripped cleaned and repainted where necessary

Just one point Del..
Are you using the original air box? If you are, you might have a bit of a struggle to get it in with the engine already in place. It is possible, but it's a right barsteward

I've a set of casings ready to go on at the weekend all a gunmetal grey metallic - but as Froudy says Ill need to remover the engine to fit the airbox and I need to fix a mount

After a chat with Froudy I decided to remove the engine to fit the airbox and correct the previous owners idiocy but managed to get it all removed and refitted in just over an hour - also got the casings fitted - forks and a few other parts

getting there and wont be too long - about to tackle the electric string - I hate wiring

I'll send my Son OJ up to sort the loom for you...He loves doing them for some perverse reason that I haven't quite worked out yet

So in an attempt to put off the wiring I decided that I didn't like the standard black infills so decided to wrap in real carbon fibre - so after several coats of clear and a serious amount of sanding and polishing there ready for the bike

Oh and I managed to pick up an uncut undertray for a £10.00
