Stoli, not going to Sturgis for a romantic week away then ??  :stir:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

OK so i guess i should appologise, i figured seeing as the Dragon is europes second oldest biking event next to the Elephant i assumed everyone would know what it is.

I have been to many since, but this is one of my favourite one. I think my bike or me feature in this vid about 3 times.. If you dont watch it all, at least jump to 3:17.. its hilarious and that wasnt the deepest someone went..

So if i do stuff all all day and noone sees me do it.. Am i still a lazy git?

Looks a big gathering and for crossers and trialies perfect but I'm afraid I'd prefer something a little less muddy
I have 4 bikes and 1 wife - why can't all 5 shut up when I take a key out

My wife was born there.

Is that a good or bad thing?   :stir:

Hard to say but she is a brilliant wife, has never tried to change me and doesn't mind how many bikes I have.  She has a full bike license and used to ride every day herself but now happy to ride pillion. :hat:

Its not always that muddy, thats just one year and one of the best in my opinion.. And if you look at the vid i linked, there is barely a crosser in sight.. In fact mostly classics.

Matlock is a great place to ride, loads of camp sites in and around and every Sunday is bike day!
Loads of attractions including cable cars,Castle, Bakewell tarts etc.
You could tie it in with an event at Donnigton which is only 30mins away!
Many a Donkey has lost its hoof on the rocky road, don't be that Donkey!

spent my late teens at matlock  :boogie:

Did they have cars/bikes then!!!

So... is there a bash or gig on etc near or in Matlock that we can join in. I personally would prefer something to do while there or options we can join in rather than just camp

I can only confirm that the Peak district is a nice area to drive around by bike.
Did that in 2009.

What i also remember is that Matlock can be very crowded on sundays with a lot of enforcers.
