I take my hat off to anyone who has the guts to realise they have an issue with anything but drinking it is in this case.

I was a massive drinker all through my twenties so bad it was causing health issues. My best mate died (plane crash) I basically gave up as a tribute to him. I do drink this days but I'm a cheap shout now. 1 or 2 bourbons (Makers Mark presently) and that's enough.

Well done Tony and may you have many more years of sobriety   :rofl2:

Good result mate - an event like that and it could have gone either way.
Glad for you that you took the low alcohol path....

forgot to congratulate you Tony. well done. i drink stacks of beer, no spirits or wine. i dont ever ride with alcohol. beer is my choice, 3.5 only. never get drunk, no hangovers but i just like beer. in the past have had mates gone from drinking, same as everyone. i dont think im better or worse for what i do, just a lot poorer. just glad i dont live in uk, newcastle brown, so nice. my opinion is, choose your own vices, live with them, as long as no one else gets harmed. my family is always first, theyd agree. they also think, why be so old and ride bloody motorbikes. they really dont comment much, used to me.

Reading all that - I need a drink!!
