Besides Barmy has seen my 14 in much worse states over the years and he remembers it with 7.5k on & mint just after I got it.

Yep watched Hooli's 14 rack up the miles over the years - and actually given its usage and the UK weather, it's in pretty good condition IMO, mechanically well maintained by Hooli as the mileage reflects!

I worked out something this evening... it's 238,900miles to the moon (on average), so in another 7,698miles my 14 will be halfway there.

Only on 60221 atm on a k3, but I've only done about 3000 in the last 3 years. Bought it in 2008 with only 5500 on the clock

that's great hope I can get to those sort of miles .and still be going strong .have you had many faults probs to watch out for.

BTW, valve clearances on mine have never changed & it's had halfords oil for the last 70k or so, changed every 4k. So they don't need 'owt special to make them last.

i have a small trophy for any one that can beet 111000 MILES, posted to the winner before end of august ,not much of a trophy but you can say you are THE HIGH MILER ON A 14

Those regular oil changes are the key to it i reckon. Well done Hooli
