its an 841 indian. 1941. designed to be a desert bike but army decided bikes were not what they needed. bought the jeep instead. harley also made similar but a flat twin.

Yes, only 1056 ever built, majority sold off to the public and never saw service. Not something you see every day. Nice old thing, interesting bike, shaft drive, across the frame V, left hand throttle.
