Hello hope someone can help

When I shut the throttle off engine feels like its going to cut out but it does not and when I open the throttle back up its got a flat spot.

First off, I'd check your throttle cable adjustment. If that is OK, then suggest take the fuel pump out and check if its clogged up.

give fuel pump a check as well as checking any plugs in the loom while your at it
