Took a Speed Triple R out for a spin yesterday, what a fantastic bike, smooth, flexible and really good fun.  The brakes were great and the ohlins were just so stable on all surfaces.  Only problem with it for me was that the seat is a bit hard and it's a little cramped, more so than my 955 Speed Triple, especially two up.  Mirrors are brilliant, might fit bar end mirrors to one of my other bikes.  So if you get a chance take one out for a spin, you will love it.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Which is good UNLESS you really like it and can't afford it....

ive had test rides on all the speed triples
from 955 1050 and latest ones
all have fantastic engine's but sports bike riding positions(very low bars) great on the open road for a short time but totally crap in town for me.

only a slightly modified gsx1400
oh and a standard one too
