As no one else has addressed the Football question for the wife Fruit tut tut  :whatever:

If you want to do TT and a prem game, the timing maybe against you as the Football season finishes mid May (this weekend this year) and TT starts last week in May.

There is the FA Cup Final (end of May) but tickets for that will be impossible to get hold of for a neutral unless you have relatives who work in Football lots of amateur coaches get them.

If you like your millatary planes RAF cosford is a good half day out.
If you come last week in July you can attend MCR!

Cheers Red

Assuming MCR runs next year in the UK - it needs a new organiser after this year as Sheff has stood down. Not sure how well attended it may be either in the UK this year, there seems a lack of enthusiasm....
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Good point Dave I'd forgotten we were talking about next Year!
I hope someone can pick up the mantle and run with it, who knows maybe someone new with fresh ideas can make it work!
To be fair I'd rather camp on a beach somewhere  than the old general
