Thanks Barmy. Sure looks like southern coast of Oz in places.

Fast1400

Went for another loop of Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland yesterday.
Not a heap of kilometres covered, but definitely a heap of fun.
It was a bit cold early on (for me anyway!), the first time this season I've needed my Merlin and it's thermal liner.

Mate, we live in a great place. Hinterland roads are why i live where i do. 40 yrs ago was fun, today its cameras, speed limits, cops everywhere, so many cars, glad you still like it. I do but just not the same.

There's a few things I miss about living nearer the coast. It was a bit warmer, I wasn't nearly 200K's from some of the bike / tool stores I like or the airport etc, more choice of everything from finding work to eating out.

Not missing the traffic, house prices or the very enthusiastic cops anywhere near the coast or suburbia.

Sundays ride out here was good, very little traffic, saw one cop who lives in the next town, he just put his hand up to say "Hi".

Both town and country have benefits and suit folk in different ways, but there's there's a very noticeable difference between them and not just in the view.  Funny, this week a mate was in Cairns barefoot in shorts and a T-shirt, whilst the news was showing the ski slopes down South.   I love the variety and choices of this place.

Chris
Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Tony Nitrous

A cool morning. 5 degrees C at home, 9 at the cafe, 11 to 13 on the way home.
Hopefully the GSX14 will be getting some use in about 2 weeks time.

Hooli

To prove I still use her, I took 14 to Whitby today. Two hundred & eight miles, with two bars still showing. Flickering to reserve but still on two bars, cant argue that as we weren't riding silly slow. Had a wander around goth shops, pint in an Irish bar & home.

AndyB

Had a very agreeable day out in the sun myself today ...scrubbed a new back tyre in...
Bikes , beer , blondes ........& Bacon🤣😎

Did you fill it on the mainstand and do you have the hole punched on the filling tube.

No.

No mainstand on mine because of the Akra. I fill it sat on the bike and shake it a bit to get more in. I didn't fill up when home but the last tank did 207mile on 21,25litres or so. I always consider the hole in the filling tube but never bother.

I'm doing some fuel calculations presently, thought it was using to much but it looks similar to your figures.
