Bloody awesome trip & pic's Hooli!   Far more to see & do up that side of the globe.  Being on a couple of relatively small islands can have advantages, but we also miss out on the type of trip you've just done.  :onya:
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Hooli, what a ride that must have been! Totally fantastic, with truly awesome photos. A huge thanks for sharing :onya:

Glad you all liked them, was a damn good trip. Hassle free too which was great, the biggest issues were having to adjust the chain in Gib & the can of tyre weld bursting under the seat which I discovered when I got the tools out to adjust the chain.

The chain & sprockets are overdue for changing as I have to adjust it every 1k or so, but I'm waiting till the salt is gone as there is no point ruining a new chain right away.

 Riding Spain was my best ever riding trip ............ I'll be back.
The initial attraction to motorcycling inflicts people for various reasons and at different stages in their lives. But once someone experiences the elation of riding a motorcycle there's no denying the nearly spiritual effect it has.

Oddly mate I don't feel like I tried to do many miles on this trip. I just plodded along & stopped where I wanted as often as I wanted. I think I had four days I didn't even get on the bike too.

Looks Great Hooli, I'm very envious and wish I could do a trip or two like that!  :worshippy:

Anyone can do such trips Pete, just start riding & don't turn around.

I took my first little run of the year yesterday, it's a bit disappointing that it has took this long to get out, in past years I have managed the odd ride in January and February but circumstances and motivation had not combined up until now.

The GSX was picked for this one and I also finally got to waer some new gloves that I had been gifted for Christmas. The bike felt great, I was expecting it to grumble a bit from being neglected. My ride was only a couple of hours, a slightly shortened version of my favourite local loop to give me the opportunity of beating a brave retreat if the rain came in.

The winter has been very unkind to the road surfaces around shropshire. Potholes abound and most of the time I was very focused on where my front wheel was pointing and making sure I was steady into the bends in case there was anything lurking just out of sight. Some that I encountered must have been 150mm deep and it is pretty shocking that these have not been attended to - many could be a genuine risk to life.

I made time for a coffee break in Ludlow, the town seemed quiet for a Sunday with a famer's market in the castle square, I guess everyone was staying at home due to the Coronavirus (or down at Tesco stripping the shelves of toilet rolls), the traders seemed to be giving up on it and packing up early.

Good to be back on the road though, hopefully I can call this the start of the "season".

Enjoyed skimming through your pictures Hooli, some of those landscapes seemed familiar from my 2018 trip and stirred some memories.

You even caught the road at the back of the cathedral in Cadiz where I used to park my bike for the few nights we stayed there  :)
