Brings back some memories, I did the Cambrian March over the Beacons several times in the 1980's as a boy soldier, one of the hardest things I have done, the third and last got aborted half way through due to the adverse weather conditions, I can still hear the "end ex" call now

Hi Mr King,
It is indeed in the UK.
It's just east of the city of Lancaster near an area called "Quernmore" ( pronounced Kworma).
It's one of the routes I go along on my way to other remote roads.
I will show them to you if you ever come over.

Just been over to ride the Isle of Man road circuit it was incredible but seriously cold.
Paris was sunny but chilly.
Berlin was bland.
Prague was amazing 😎
Athens & two Greek islands were warm & sunny.
Next time I'll look you up 🙏👍😎

If there was a nut on the front axle what side would it be on.

guess what ? on mine its on the right !!!!  but the spindle is clamped at the bottom of the fork leg so going nowhere.  just like the rear is locked to the swingarm and can't unwind its self and undo the nut.

Rode out to Scotty's garage at Flagstone Saturday morning. He has a garage full of old cars, some restored some not.
Big breakfast was excellent 😎

If I'm not in a hurry I head that way home. Blacksoil get off the highway, Wallon, Rosewood, Laidley, Gatton, up past Flagstone to Toowoomba and up the New England Highway. Makes a change from Brisbane Valley, Fernvale, Esk, Blackbutt, etc
.
