Thanks. I just fancied a total change. Last time I had a Pirelli fitted - it was called a Pirelli Phantom. Now we are talking years ago..!

Run Bridgestone since 2000. 10/11/14/20/21/23 in various forms.

Pirelli phantoms, you old bugger  :whistling:
I could never afford them but Pirelli have resurrected the pattern for their retro bikes a coup of years ago.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Had Pirelli Phantoms on my XJ750 in the early 80's thats after wearing out a set of Dunlop Elites.
Milage not good on those tyres back then. Did a double when i saw Phantoms on the tyre rack at the local bike shop the other day.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

wow, is this a memory trip. had dunlop elite on a gs1000, spent ages trying to figure out why it moved all over the place. was the tyres. fitted phantoms and was perfect. had michelin a47 on front of ducati, perfect. they changed to a48, couldnt keep it on the road. again phantom solved the prob. that must be 30 yrs ago.

Yep - the in-combination at the time was. Metzeler ME99 front. Pirelli Phantom rear.

Bearing in mine the Phantom needed scrubbing in. 800 miles to a rear was a bit rubbish...
