Hi all,
I was just about to order 4 NGK plugs for my bike (K7) and noticed the photos at the various suppliers show one electrode!
I am after standard plugs ( not iridium).
As I very recently discovered my plugs have 2 electrodes!
My plugs are the NGK CR8EK R
Should I be using the NGK CR8EK ?

Which is correct ?

Bike's not fussy, std plugs single 'lectrode is all she needs.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Here ya go, page 42 from the handbook gives some pointers on this.

Is the manual a bit misleading, states CR8EK the K denotes twin electrode reading the NGK brochure, yet the image in the manual shows a single electrode? The EK verisons are also more than double the price of the E versions

I may buy a set of the CR8E plugs from Halfords at just over £5 each with the trade card and give them a go, all other specs for the plug are the same as the CR8EK version

I've tried various plugs in various bikes. Never noticed any difference. Never used the super expensive ones but drag strip, dyno's and mileage are fine.

I have used original plugs, NGK CR8EK all the time (over 90 000 km in my use) with no problems.

They all work well, no difference. I use Iridium, werent expensive, just my choice.
