I know by Canadian standards this is a summers day but for where I live its bloody cold..
In fact my car would not go into gear until the ticking over engene had transferred some heat to the gearbox..

It's the same here at the moment although frankly, its not that unusual here in the winter months. Still, as you say, bloody cold.

Do they still have a sort of bike evening in Lytham during the summer months?  My lad lives near there and if they do I might pencil in a visit on the 1400 next year.

The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Kiwifruit

Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Hooli

Pfft, that's still open face weather.

Hi Speedy, no worries, cheers for the info.  Hopefully catch up with you sometime.

Spent yesterday afternoon painting gate posts, corner posts, strainer posts etc in the new orchard / garden extension.

I thought it was a bit warm.   37 degrees.

Rode home from work yesterday in the hottest Jan day so far. 38deg C showing on the dash (I was on the BMW K1300GT as i still haven't had time to sort the 1400's front brakes yet). Was a smidge warm on the freeway, I reckon it was closer to 45 deg with the heat reflecting off the tarmac and the traffic.

Straight into the pool when I got home...
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Great Summer here so far, much cooler than normal. couple of 35 days but rest below 30. Hope it stays that way.

A bit too dry here.

I've put about 90 plants in and 200m of turf, no mains water here.  We've only had 4mm since before Xmas.
