I have 3 sets of diff Cans. 2 just slip onto collecter, tighten clamp. Other needs the original suzuki gasket tube thing, listed in parts but no longer available.Talked to exhaust specialist. Answer is either cut up coke can to make up layers or aluminium tape. A bit of exhaust sealant on both options.

Could you use some fibre packing like they use on those gas fire place front windows, that stuff is temp rated and fills all gaps nicely.  Some permatex red exhaust sealent should hold it in place. Just an idea.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Should I use diet coke cans to save weight?

Unpainted coke zero cans would save even more weight...

Im diabetic, of course only zero coke cans. 😂

For repairing exhausts I found steel food cans had a higher endurance to aluminium cans. I would tell people my 400/4 Honda had a Campbells exhaust system.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

The gasket/tube thing i was talking about, bit of WD40 under it, slipped right off easily. Ready to use again, not bad for 14 yrs.
