Grommit

Can anybody tell me where this grommet comes from ,I was changing the air filter and when I lifted the tank up this fell out and I can't fathom out where it belongs,HELP!!!!!

It's OK I found where it came from. It sits at the front of the tank and supports it there  all good now

Top of the frame in the middle?

Hope you grabbed it from underneath & tugged. The thicker bit on the thin bit (if that makes sense) should slide through the hole & retain it in place.

Correct @ Holli , the big bit supports the tank and it's little tail fits into that hole in the middle of the frame near the headstock
