Bikespeed UK having a sale on BT 023's including GT's all at £139.  Very tempted to try out the 120/70 and 190/55 combo, has anyone here used these tyres on their 1400?

Ive not used them on my 14 but I used them on my VFR800 ( I know its a different bike) and found them excellent in all weathers and pretty durable.

From the Michelin Power 5 Topic.
On Sweaty's recommendation I tried a set of Bridgestone 023's (5648km) but 3630kms from a Pirelli Supercorsa Pro was the greatest waste of money.

That was a really shit recommendation that Sweaty gave you Pete  ;)
I recommended them after taking the original tyres that came with the bike off, which were like wood. So the 023's felt like moto go tyres at the time
I would never have a set again, now that I have had Angel Gt's & now the PR5 which feel even better.

Mister Fishfinger

I've got BT023s on mine. They are pretty durable, also cheap, but that's the best thing I can say about them. They don't inspire much confidence when it's cold and damp.

I think technology has moved on and I would be looking at Michelin PR4/5s or Pirelli Angels next time round. Even Bridgestone have better tyres in their range.

gsxbarmy

023's are really old technology tyres now, a set of PR5's or Angels would be a much better investment.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

I had 023's on a 1250 Bandit - as has been said didn't inspire confidence in the wet and the front went almost to a point in the middle which was most alarming  :confused1: I wouldn't go back to them personally

Batkwaka

I previously used 020-023 Bridgestone tyres and found them to be good value.
I have noticed that complaints about them come from colder climates so U.K. is probably not an ideal place for them.
Perth Australia the weather is temperate so they work well. I have swapped to the Pirelli Angel GT's though.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

I've used 023s on my Triumph Sprint for 10 years and the GSX for 5, no complaints.
Going to be getting more in the near future.
