This is the road that my parents live on 30 years ago to last week, they live on one of the most inland roads in the village and the sea is just short of a mile away. Extreme weather and a high tide that broke the sea wall and caused absolute devastation, as they live in a Bungalow they lost everything and lived in a Caravan in the front garden for six months while the property was replaced. No such floods there since but there is still a no build policy in place
