The bike seems fine.

Except that when I picked it up they wheeled it around to me already running. I jumped on and rode away.
Next place I stopped - went to leave and nope...  It was trying to start but the starter clutch wasn't engaging or something.
Fortunately - depending how you look at it - I was at a bike accessory shop. (AMX at Virginia - great place).
Battery tester showed battery cactus, completely.

At a guess, it was on the way out, and sitting at the repair place for 6+ weeks without being cranked over, did it no favours.
I am suspicious that where I picked it up from - Team Moto Virginia - likely would have had to jump start it and didn't tell me...

Anyway, I bought a battery to add to the new gloves I'd already purchased. And she cranks like a demon.
Did a short ride to Redcliffe, gave it a hiding a few times just to feel that TORQUE, at grabbed lunch.

It's great to be back on board

Yeah mate, GSX1400 therapy & lots of it! Ride as often & as far as possible - doctors orders.
