I have decided to clean my front callipers and change to EBC sintered pads after being inspired by Dave's brilliant instructions,  - also change all to ProBolt stainless and also invested in a Halfords Pro torque wrench ( never used one in 62 years ! just did things up tight ! Lol)- Is it a good idea to upgrade to Braided lines? I did read on the old Org lots of views but can't remember what is best - Same setup or just 2 straight from the Master cylinder ? - Views appreciated :smile2:
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Its entirely your choice Notty, there have been various write-ups about the 2 or 3 line setup on the front brakes, and the net outcome was it made absolutely no difference. Personally I prefer the 3 line setup, as that matches in with standard, and keeps everything looking the same, but your call. Don't forget of course that you will probably want to do the clutch line and rear brake line as well to make it all look good.

Apart from the cosmetic side, braided lines will have an advantage more on the older machines, as the rubber lines do start to degrade over the years (so you probably wouldn't notice much if any difference on a new bike, but might more on an older machine.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Braided lines are well worth it.

I would stick to the original set up myself, make sure you specify SS ends as well.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick
