Insurance warning

OK folks bear with me on this.
My bikes been on sorn a few years and I'm selling this year so when Carol Nash wanted £240 I think no way. Did compare meerkat basic insurance no extras £80 with Swinton. Result!! So did all online form and hit pay...... For some reason my card didn't finish payment without me knowing so no email confirming insurance. Today rang Swinton and no it hadn't gone through, nice lady ran through details to take payment. It was only whilst chatting to her saying I don't ride anymore she asked  Is your bike on sorn? Yes I say, it then comes out that some insurance companies won't insure sorn bikes, guess what yes zenith who I was going with don't insure sorn bikes or cars. So she put me with Highway who do.
Thing is nowhere does it ask is your bike sorn off road so if that card payment had worked or it didn't come out on the phone I would have been un insured. Something to watch out for guys n gals.

Glad you mentioned Swinton as my insurance due so got a quote from them fully comp for £104 !!
