Exact Speed

with stock gearing &tyre size, checked out bike speed with gps. 1k revs is 31.87 ks(19.8 mph). 2k is 63.74(39.5), 3k is 95.61(59.3), 4k is 127.5(79), 5k is 159.4(98.8), 6k is 191.2(118.6), 7k is223.1(138.3), 8k is 255(158.1). i hope ive got this all correct, im sure youll tell me if ive stuffed up. very possible. maybe some one smarter than me can make a chart? this is first time ive ever checked, always knew speedo read faster. have had just over 7.5 in 6th so happy with that.

I've never ridden mine more than 200 km/h. This is what my speedohealer has recorded and this is corrected value as I calibrated my speedo to show 100km/h against GPS. I guess there is still room for error when doing higher speeds, however did not have the nerve to calibrate SH when doing 200km/h 

What was speedometer reading at 7.5k?

Most of us who've done the same find the speedo reads around 9% over.

I've had mine reading the bottom right hand corner of the odometer once, I think it might have been lying (a lot) as that'd be about 175mph if the speedo scale was extended.

Bielie, i thought so when fitted. after a few ks just becomes normal. i think my 14 runs as good as it can, never had a bike run so well, just never a problem. i would like to update to yoshi stuff but so damn expensive. only way i can see to improve it. rode my mates with supercharger, its crazy but so ugly. yeah, im happy with it, fast enough for me, great fuel mileage, so smooth. happy old man i am.

I was out for an evening ride tonight & remembered I was going to report what my GPS speed shows at 3000, it's 90kph.  100kph is about 3400 & 110K is about 3700.
This is with a 17 tooth front & 41 rear btw.
