my mate has sold his rocket, only get diavel to baby sit now. has just fitted new cam sensors, another 20 bhp since i rode it. wish it was that easy to get 20 on 14.

Indeed the gsx1400 is based on so much older oil cooler Suzuki tech but shares very little with them .
So everything to tune the 1400 is a one off unfortunately.
Looking forward to see what you think of the Ducati.
:onya:
only a slightly modified gsx1400
oh and a standard one too

Interested for your feedback on the Diavel @grog - always liked em but just couldn't spend that kind of money on one

ive had 2 rides on Diavel. only fast rides so cant comment on day to day, around town etc. comfort excellent, its everything is just brilliant in my eyes, fast, handles, stops, all very well, superb really. sounds unreal. gauges my old eyes have trouble reading, much prefer our old skool on 14. sort of feels like you can do any speed, stop at will, point it anywhere. just does it. only ridden in sport mode, 162 bhp, mate reckons he now has added 10%, new cam sensors. no faults found by me, light clutch, excellent gear change. solo bike only i reckon, no fun for pillion. wife wouldnt even come for a spin, didnt like seat. cant blame her. get sick of people asking about it when parked, it is stunning in real life. they are expensive to buy, expensive to run. tyres a big cost, servicing either expensive at dealer or very time consuming at home. even after home service, the service indicator has to be re set, dealer or buy $300 tool. a great bike to borrow not to own i think. bottom line, most amazing bike ive ever ridden. last few years, brutale, rocket, mt 09&07, gsx1000 suzi,, busa, kawa 1400. even a guzzi. bonnie. few more but Diavel is just something you should try. im looking fwd to having for 3 months.
