Side Stand play ?

Hi all,

As you may know I got my K5 14 on Wednesday..
Whilst looking around the bike (drooling) I noticed the side stand has play..
In other words if I put the bike on the centre stand and then extend the side stand, I can move the side stand in and out on its pivot point.

Is this normal ?

Just went out & checked mine, it's on the main stand, I put the side stand out, it's not loose, the spring holds it down, but, I can lift it about 1.5cm outwards. I'm fine with it as it is & it's no issue leaving it on the side stand, I just prefer to use the main stand.

Yes there will be some play on it, nothing to be concerned about.

Mine has same play as Col's

all normal, no worries. i use side or main, just whatever. centrestand is just good to have, no paddock stands needed for maintenance.
