What weve adopted At my workshop. Works so well. Bought a huge syringe. Fill with brake fluid. Hang it really high above what you want to bleed. Open bleeder, just push fluid thru, back feed. Block off bleeder. Have 100% success so far. No more pumping etc. holding lever in o/night. Gravity and pressure work.

So, you're reverse bleeding?  Filling everything up via the bleed nipple as opposed to from the Master Cyl?

I've heard of pressure bleeding - done from the cyl down through the nipple, but you're saying it works just as good going the other way?  Cool!  Reckon I could try that one.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Col, originally tried because of bloody subaru clutch slave. Just wouldnt bleed. Tried this way, worked first time

I tend to use the vacuum bleeder these days, always worked well for me, pulls fluid down from the cylinder, as opposed to pushing it back up. Although either works well I think, and better than keep pumping the lever!

Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Problem I have with vacuum bleeding or reverse bleeding is that either the pipe connection leaks, or the nipple threads leak, then I have brake fluid everywhere except in the brakes!

Only time I had a problem with bleeding was when the MC of the rear brake was a goner. Otherwise the conventional procedure works great.

Only problem I've had with bleeding, was when I split my head open  ;)

That reminds me of an incident many years ago.  I had just stripped and replaced third gear in my Honda CB550f2 and was putting the motor back in the frame with the help of my wife.  She stood up quickly and bashed her head into t steel framed window and split her head open and was bleeding all over my bike, well I couldn't stop as I still had the rocker cover off so I gave her a rag and told her to hang on while I check the top end out and get the rocker cover fitted, she had to hang on but the medical staff were not very impressed when I finally got to the medical centre.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick
