Hi Guys  My rev counter was working earlier today, but it now isn't.  The needles sweep when you first turn on.  Only thing i've done is put back the speed sensor & the rev counter doesn't work now.  Checked all fuses and wires, all ok.  Any idea's please??

Brian... welcome to the site!  I'm sure someone will be along shortly with advice on this, but it's  customary to introduce yourself.... and buy everyone a drink  :rofl2:

briann. Given the sweep works, I suspect the fault is very likely in the sender unit (aka sensor)

Hi Briann, what do you mean "I've put back the speed sensor" ?   What had you done with it? I'm picking it's something you've done (or not done) whilst  you've had things apart.  Maybe left a connection undone? or the sensor (if renewed) isn't set close enough to read?

Tell us what you'd been doing (and why) & we may be able to figure out where the missing link is.

Exactly right Col. More info required. If it worked b4 whatever was done, doesnt now. Surely Sherlock would be onto that clue.
