 I am so fed up of ordering things online with free delivery and then getting an email saying that they can't deliver to the highlands , and that if i still want it it will cost an extra £35 for delivery !! ..... it make me so bloody

What you needing as you could get it sent to Emma's in Dundee and pick it up from my house up north if that helps you .
I think some companies are now dropping the charges but  others not .we're close enough to the oil capital of Europe for this not to happen .
Drives me mad too I try to get from a company that don't add extra charges .

Well i do too but i missed it on this one the the exclusions didn't say highlands but i missed a tiny wright up in the corner off the add  .
Ive found most companies have done away with it now or changed to couriers that dont charge extra but there are plenty that still do !
i mean they dont charge extra to go to landsend and the roads are terrible there

Emma used to live in in an many years ago but had a paisley postcode so was ok getting things posted.
I think both the UK and Scottish governments are looking into this problem but who knows if they can do anything about it .
So annoying.
