We are lucky here, no salt on the roads. In the North Island when things get icey the grit truck comes out. Have to watch out for that.
Have seen how the salt affects vehicles. Just by looking at some that have been imported into NZ. I have been shocked, so feel sorry for you blokes trying to keep your bikes in tip top condition.
