I got myself an electric buzz gun last year...Makes the job so easy.
It takes longer to get the gun out, set it up and put it away than to get that sprocket nut off now :imrgreen:

I bought a 240 volt one from Machine Mart a while back-all I can say is I wish I'd bought one years ago!

Are the 12v ones good enough to undo a car wheel thats been done up by a shop with compressor driven ratte gun?

I don't let them get away with that ever since some dipstick put a locking wheel nut on so tight I couldn't get it undone. I don't mind them taking up the slack with a rattle gun, but insist that the use a torque wrench to do the final tightening.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Not sure about the 12v ones..Think most cordless ones are 24v.I guess they'd do the job.
Mines a big heavy 240v Clarke job from Machine Mart.

I have the same too, the battery powered ones in Machine Mart are meant to be good but they are a helluva lot more expensive!
