Hello People,

I recently picked up a box of parts from a guy wrecking his bike (earlier version <k5)
Does anyone know what the difference between a k4 and k5 plus in terms of injectors is?

Basically when I fit the PC3 to my bike (k8) I get  fuel injector 1 low voltage error code. Goes away when removed. :whatever:

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Without the pc3 you don't have this error,  so I think the pc3 is the reason.

They can go faulty

maybe worth checking on another bike as should fit all models or send it powercommander they will check it over for you  .
as blubber says they can go faulty .
only a slightly modified gsx1400
oh and a standard one too

Try doing a firmware update on it and then try again - if it still throws up an error then the PC3 is faulty

Just to check though - you do have the wire connected to the correct terminal (negative)?
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

I had a fault with  PC3 with worn sockets in the plugs, I removed the plug O rings and the pins were able to pull up better and the fault went away for me.

My first thought too. They helpfully* coloured the earth terminal on the fly led red so you couldn't confuse it with a power lead.
