Hi guys
Here's a question , I don't trust everything you see on eBay but I have seen Galespeed wheels advertised on there , has anyone had any experience with them ? Are they Chinese? Are they as I expect rubbish or good the price makes me wonder if they are

No personal experience, but in the past a few have fitted them, but price has put them off. As far as I'm aware no they are not Chinese, but are genuine wheels. Just damn expensive!

Also available from BikeHPS (who only sell genuine product stuff, so if in any doubt about the ones on eBay being copies, go through them)

Alpha and omega for this topic is wheel weight .... this is primary for me if I want them change.

If weight is a factor,  then you might also want to consider Dymag - also available from bikeHPS!

Looks like the Galespeeds have gone up in price quite a bit since I bought mine, I paid 1200 for the pair in gold a couple of years ago, (they come with stealth cush drive, sprocket with number of teeth you ask for and the spacers are part of the hub assembly so you don't have to worry about losing them). I think they're Japanese and very nicely made and bloody light compared with the standard wheels and beautifully balanced. Bought mine through Calsport in Birmingham.
