I had some time and want to do something useful :)

There is DVG file, which can be used for CNC machine. Made it by dimensioonis of this template: http://gsx1400owners.org/forum_test/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=58

Done mine on the cheap £1.50

Yeah, if you can get away with just a cap, that'd be handy.
What sort of cap and what holds it there?

Its a stainless steel cap had bolt. M10. You will need a tap to cut a thread and a grinder with a cutting disc to shorted the bolt and some loctite to seal the bolt. Simples :-)

I use chair leg covers, they seems work well too  :)

great way to remove pairs without using the plates
only thing i would add is you still need to remove the reed valves as they can snap off and fall into the head/valves due to no through flow of gases as in normal use of the reed valves.

only a slightly modified gsx1400
oh and a standard one too

@seth ,Thanks for your reminding !
Yes I have read that at the topic "How to: Remove the PAIRS System". But I am courious what will happen if not put back the reed valve (middle part) and just put back the top cover ? Will the gas from the two "compartment" disturb each other or what will be the effect ?

Seth - i've left mine in situ. Due to the fact I do not have the blanking plates. Has any one heard of them dropping?

For kicks, I had disabled the PAIR system temporarily. No difference. Not surprising, as I think it was @Tony Nitrous who said that it doesn't make sense on an original system.

I blocked my pairs just like Veemanzero, with threads and screw. I didnt notice any difference. The reason for blocking was that I wanted to get accurate AFR readings from my wide band lambda.
After fitting a turbo to my bike, I made a new "pair" connection to feed air to downpipe after lambdasond. And it works.
Emission meters of MOT inspection will show total "bullshit" for extra air! But they cant do anything because it is original emission equipment!
So, pair is very useful system. I like it.
