well done mate. they are classics, love them. ive had 4 of them. first new bike i ever bought, gold k model. did 14 th ks on it in 4 months. i then bought L model. seized the motor first weekend, never let in run in, was racing a honda 4. covered under warranty. i ported it to usa flat track specks, two weekends of work, built my own expansion chambers. could flog a kawa 900, my aim. sucked fuel but very fast. for 1974 that is. had two more after that.  both were left standard, the L model was amazing, could wheelstand at will.

Lovely looking bike Norton.

Lot of those engines went the way of speedway sidecars. They worked real good too.
Yes time flys.....that would be 40 years ago.
Saturday nights at the speedway......
great times !!   :boogie:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

a lot in speedway Kiwi, a lot got stuffed because coolant was crap back then. they corroded, heads stuck to barrels, a real pity. if you want to see engineering masterpiece, google the crankshafts they had. amazing, pressed together. from memory, only 40 yrs ago, roller mains and not sure but i think crank was around 11 seperate pieces. someone will correct me.
