I need to replace both fork tubes and see that Brooks sell them from two manufacturers, JMP @ £240 each and Slinky Glide @ £120 each.  Does anyone have any experience of either of these or do i flip a coin.

I went for the JMP, very pleased with them
Thankfully we all like different things, and I like a modded GSX1400

Just make sure you get the correct ones as early and later fork tubes are totally different and not interchangeable.
Good luck 👍

I got mine rechromed when I needed to do that, from memory it was about £150 but you will have the bike in bits for a month or so as they normally take 2-3weeks to come back.
